No longer will my blog be filled with only iPhone edited images but actually some professional pictures with my Nikon D5000. I'm so excited to get back into my love of photography and playing with the camera. It's something that goes hand and hand with fashion and I've always had a niche for it.
I'm excited to have a different approach to my post with a lot more pictures and a little less writing. Winter has officially hit the East Coast and it is freezing in State College. No more getting away with summer clothes under a jacket, it's time for wearing one more layer than you think is necessary just in case.
Today I am breaking out one of my warmest sweaters I got from Peru, it's 100% Alpaca. I decided to put some dark wash skinnies with a paisley print scarf from Target. I also wore one of my favorite necklaces that is a petrified butterfly wing from the Butterfly Garden in St. Thomas, USVI.

I Wanna Feel The Impact As We Collide
YAY! The weekend is finally here and I am going on an adventure to Philadelphia tomorrow to see a DJ, Sub focus. I'm going to be seriously depressed in life if I ever have to take a break from the concert/festival binge I've been embarking on since this past summer. It's just something I believe keeps the soul young to continue letting loose and enjoying little nights out on the town, no matter how old you get.
Picking an outfit out for a concert can be one of the most difficult outfit choices a girl faces. Especially when it's that time of the year where it's necessary to have a jacket on but there is no where to put your jacket at the venue, so you just don't bring one. It is just such a dilemma, do you dress warm enough so that you'll be okay outside? Or something summery so you don't sweat to death in the venue?
I was inspired by my favorite song Tidal Wave, that I am dying to hear live. It was the song of the summer cruising in my jeep during late nights. A layered look is necessary with the dilemma I explained above. I kind of made the base of the outfit something I would wear to a summer concert, high wasited shorts and an intricate one piece that's ripped and tied on the side. Also adding tights and boots to the look to make it a little more winter appropriate. This bright blue grandpa sweater was the perfect cardigan to throw over the entire look and stay warm.

Blogger Inspiration
Well I keep up with lots of blogs now that I've found myself deeply involved in the blogsphere (blogger atmosphere). But there's a few fashion bloggers that are my absolute favorites to keep up on. They give me the biggest inspiration and motivation to continue blogging and following my passions while taking risks.
Courtney is a 23 year old from AZ. Her love of vintage clothing turned into a business venture with the pop up of her online shop, Same Old Chic. She's currently taking a little break from the blogger world because she is pregnant but is still one of the most stylish bloggers I follow!
Sincerely Jules.
Jules Sarinara is a fashion blogger, jet setter that gets to travel the globe and post a visual daily diary of who and what she wore. She also makes her own t-shirt line that has become very well known, especially the Celife tee. With her site being founded only four years ago Jules has made a huge impact on the fashion industry being featured in magazines like Elle, Lucky, Teen Vouge, and Cosmopolitan Latino. I first discovered Jules on instagram, as she is often featured on the popular page. Here is here bigcartel shop address: http://sincerelyjules.bigcartel.com/

Courtney Kerr is a 31 year old Dallas fashion blogger that left a stable corporate job to pursue her love of clothes. I'm obsessed with her and am so glad she's finally got a series on Bravo. She is such a quirky, fun person that this definitely comes out in the creative flow of her posts. Not to mention shes one of my biggest inspirations because she's always encouraging others to take risks in life!

Winter White
I was never a fan of wearing anything white in the winter because I am almost sure to get something on it. However, I've changed my views this winter and decided to invest in a pair of winter white corduroys. It's something I'm glad I pushed myself to do and pushed myself out of my normal comfort zone. It's such an easy way to style an outfit around because they go with everything!

Rocker Chic
The middle of the week and I already wish it was Friday. After a break is the struggle of a century to get back into a daily routine. I'm trying my best to get to bed at a reasonable hour and not be a zombie to class in the morning.
I decided to channel my inner rocker chick today with my moto Current Elliot vest. With some black jeans, Minnetonka fringe moc booties, and comfy long sleeve thermal I feel like I'm ready to go to a show. The final missing piece is my ying-yang beanie from Nasty Gal.

Procrastination Is Tempting
Well school work has become the farthest thing from my mind after that wonderful Thanksgiving break I was blessed with. After two solid weeks of not having to worry about anything but getting to work on time it is so hard to get back into the daily grind of classes all day and work afterward. I just need to remind myself to stay positive and that everything will have a way of working itself out.
I wanted to also take the time in this post to update you all on my trip to New York last week! Despite driving in some pretty terrible weather it was the most perfect day in the city. Going from the David Zwirner Gallery, to shopping uptown, and seeing the tree at Rockafeller Center, and of course stopping by Time Square. Here are my photos from the day:
Sadly now today I am back to the reality of life in Central Pennsylvania but at least I have the cheer of the holiday season to brighten my soul. Going to pick out the Christmas tree is one of my favorite parts of the month. Each year I try to out do myself by getting the biggest tree possible that can fit in our living room (and am usually successful). So today I am bundling up for our hunt on Kuhn's Tree Farm for the perfect tree.
