New Beginnings

So pleased to be starting out 2015 on the right foot, going after my dreams and goals and marking my progress when it is made. I am so positive that this will be one the best years for manifesting my own reality and making life exactly what I want it to be. I am blessed to have family and friends that support me on these journeys but more importantly I am confident enough in myself to go for things. I cannot wait to see what this summer has to bring with me moving into a new place in Philadelphia and getting a roommate. I just wish this weather would start matching up with my great moods, hard to be so peachy when it's still 32 degrees out at night. This casual look today is Free People inspired, this blouse is there Floral Foil Print Swing. I am obsessed with this tunic because you can style it so many different ways, this is more of a wintery look but I could also see it in summer with a big floppy hat and some shorts.

Moody Blues

So I find it really difficult to get happy about spring when the daily temperature barely rises above 45. Then the random nice days of 60's we are spoiled but it so quickly fades away. However, I'm hopeful that April will bring warmer days. I am getting very excited for my 21st birthday coming up here in 8 days. I can't wait to show my birthday haul of new additions to the closet. Today's look was one of the final sweater weather days I hope I have to face. This poncho was scored on sale at Nordstrom from the Topshop collection. The necklace was a Free People find that I still adore to this day. Stay tuned to see what's new this week!

Festival Fever

Well the best of best seasons is upon us and tipically that would be summer for me but is now better known as festival season. The time when traveling, camping, and raging take presidence over all else. Nothing is more fun than planning outfits for these events. Having been to Bonnaroo, Firefly, Ultra and countless day long festivals I've become obsessed with the culture that goss along with it. It's a judge free zone that allows people to find parts of themselves they didn't even know existed. It's a time of self expression where truly anything is acceptable whether that is completely mismatching or going nude. This outfit above is my perfect night festival look however I know these shoes are impractical for that event they were perfect for the look. This adorable matching set and shoes can be purchased at Nordstrom. The shoes are the Fringly by Steve Madden and the set is from Band of Gypsies found in the savy department. I love this top from PacSun and it is so soft. Of course no festival look is complete without tons of jewelry and layered necklaces. Coachella and Burning Man are on the top of my next festivals to go to. What festivals are on yours??
