Warm Days Soak Them Up

These last few afternoons have felt so delightful outside you can't help but be happy to see that the sun is shining and it actually feels warm out. It's exciting when your into fall but you can still peel off layers because I know this won't last for much longer. I had fun playing with neutrals on this look, a nice fall outfit but appropriate for a 70 degree afternoon out. I am getting so excited for Halloween next week. I got to carve a pumpkin this week at my moms house when I went to visit to give a speech at my old university South Hills. It was a great time but now back to the city life to keep on keeping on.

Fringe Benefits

It is always important to start the week off on a positive note. Whether I have Sunday off or Monday off I take advantage of that time to recollect myself from the weekend and get a plan for the next week to come. I've said it once before since moving but I will say it again I am just so inspired right now to follow my dreams and really just go with my gut instincts, I can feel new exciting things on the horizons.
Getting back to my true bohemian style this outfit is one of my favorite summer time work then do something fun with friends after. The fringe and crochet details on this shirt have always attracted me to it and is able to be styled many ways for different seasons. My skirt is a great basic from American Apparel. These wedges are from Nordstrom Rack last summer but are still so perfect for work in the summer. The apartment is finally getting pretty put together and decorated throughout! Can't wait to share pictures.

Happy Monday!

After moving into a new apartment I am finally getting back into a routine of sorts and starting to make more time to blog again! I am excited to show off my new apartment and write a little bit more about adventures and lifestyle things not just fashion. This post was actually one of the last I shot at my old apartment on a beautifully sunny day. An easy summer work look that can be topped off with a blazer for a cold office, I am in love with these Halogen wedges from Nordstrom, they are so comfortable and comes in five great colors! They're also under $100 what a steal, shop them here. My skirt is from H&M and shirt from American Apparel. I am happy to be back into the groove of things and can't wait to share my summer explorations with you all. Do you have any big plans for this summer?

Going Out Look

Can't wait for this long holiday weekend, even though I'll be working the whole thing, it still just raises everyone's spirits to truly be kicking off summer. Memorial day means pools open if they haven't already and it's time for trips to the shore. As you can see my apartment walls are getting more and more in preparation for my move here in 10 short days! I'm surprised I am still going out and not spending every minute packing. When I laid eyes on this skirt at Nordstrom I just knew it had to come home with me. It is a beautifully hand beaded piece by Raga an L.A.  based clothing company. I matched this with a simple body suit from American Apparel and my favorite Jeffery Campbell heels. I love the way the skirt curves with your hips perfect for a night out dancing.
