Dada life puts on one hell of a show, the live performance blows their recordings out of the water. Dadaland is a place of happiness where you arrive beautiful and leave ugly. To anyone who enjoys the EDM scene this is a highly recommended show.

Two Girls, A Jeep, & Time to Rage Part I

I'm going to keep these few posts short and sweet just to catch up on the wonderful journey I embarked on last week to Miami, Florida. I can confidently say it was so tempting to never return to the fridget negative degree temperatures of State College. However, I am back to the daily grind of reality and making the most of this amazing new year.

I already posted about our amazing time at the Life in Color Festival but figured I would share some more photos. Being the reason we came down I am so thankful this festival brought me to such an awesome city which I fell in love with.

Being able to wear a romper in January was magnificent. 

Miami could be a future home for this blogger :) 

Festival Attire Is The Best Attire

My oh my has it been a whirlwind of a few days down here in the beautiful state of Florida. Two days of raging and now it's time to actually start relaxing a bit on my vacation.

My Christmas dreams came true with the arrival of the beautiful all white headdress to my possession before driving down to Miami for the amazing Life in Color Festival.

Shelby and I also went to the second day show Dada Life, Tritonal, and Pierce Fulton. We had the awesome pleasure of meeting the PLUR veteran Lady Casa at this event, one of Shelby's bucket list items. It was amazing to see a friend have such a touching moment.

Merry Christmas!

Time for the big drive, I'll be excited to update next week with all my pictures oh my it'll be an interesting and adventurous week. My friend Shelby, who writes the EDM Phenomenon blog, is the perfect girl to go to the beach with. We can expect many wild nights and early mornings sippin' piña coladas on the beach.

This is one of my favorite ornaments I got in St. Johns, cannot wait to be on the beach. 

Spent sometime with the family this morning and am now making some coffee for this long trip ahead.  Hopefully I can bring some sunshine back to PA with me. 

Christmas Eve Is Magical

There is nothing like being able to be next to the coal stove on Christmas Eve at your moms house watching 24 hours of a Christmas story. Exactly what I plan on doing all night tonight!

I think I am finally ready to embark on the road trip of a lifetime tomorrow. The last couple days have been busy bee days running around doing last minute things for the trip and Christmas activities with friends and family.

It's so strange to think I won't be seeing most of my friends until next year now! 2013 was so good to me I can only hope that 2014 has half as much excitement ahead. I need to start thinking of a resolution, anyone have them in mind already?? 

Sun Bound

The stress of the holidays is setting in but it is almost over! One thought that is keeping me going in full force these next couple days, arriving in beautiful Miami, Florida for the Life in Color Festival. Now my only issue is trying to not pack my entire wardrobe to take with us.

I will be taking a little break from blogging while in Miami but will hopefully have a moment or two to write and quick post. This adventure will be titled: Two Girls, A Jeep, & Time To Rage. Exactly what it entails to be, a great fucking time with a best friend. Not only are we going to the Life in Color Festival on December 27, 2013. We are also seeing Dada Life at the Sun Life Stadium the day after as well!!! Then a few days of relaxing on the beaching, and maybe some shopping. New Years Eve should be spectacular in Miami, I've never been out of little State College so I'm sure in for a treat.

Crunch Time

Sure finals are over but now comes time for the insanely busy time of working nonstop in retail to make Christmas go round and getting to all of my family functions before driving to Miami! Like most girls packing really stresses me out, I have two concerts to attend down there and New Years Eve out on the town, time to start planning and packing.

Most of all I don't want to get too stressed or wrapped up in my trip before I leave because I just want to be able to enjoy my time with my family as well. They mean the world to me and without the crazy, strong, support system I've always had I don't know where I would be today. It's so important to be thankful for everyday you have with them. During these next few days I need to be semi-party ready but comfortable enough to run around and do errands as well too.
