Rage,Rage the Night Away

Well before 2014 ended I was lucky enough to go to one more concert and an amazing one at that! Basslights was in Hampton, VA and was a two night show with the main acts Bassnectar and Pretty Lights. I had a new Christmas present to try out during this event which is a little cube made by Polaroid that takes pictures and videos but the whole trick is you can't see them until after you upload them. Check out more sweet pictures and videos on my instagram @Carlita27.

Outfit choices for this concert included one relaxed night in my Black Milk leggings and a Good Vibes tank from Forever21. The next night for the finale I went a little crazier and broke out my cat suit. If you have never been to a Pretty Lights or Bassnectar concert you don't know what you're missing out on.

Enjoy the Little Things in Life

From Lorin's twitter account. So much love.

I love to appreciate all the little things in life that make each day more beautiful. For example the beauty in the changing of the seasons that's going on in PA right now. It's one of the most gorgeous times of the year to go on a hike or long drive.

Last weekend I was able to enjoy seeing this change begin when I drove to NY to see Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, Rusko, and Paper Diamond at Madison Square Garden. This was a concert that will never be forgotten and was basscenter VIII. With the weather starting to get chilly I opted for an easy boots, leggings, crop top look for the show. Enjoy my pictures above!! I'd love to go to basslights in December.

Festival Attire Is The Best Attire

My oh my has it been a whirlwind of a few days down here in the beautiful state of Florida. Two days of raging and now it's time to actually start relaxing a bit on my vacation.

My Christmas dreams came true with the arrival of the beautiful all white headdress to my possession before driving down to Miami for the amazing Life in Color Festival.

Me and the found of dayglow/Life in Color Luk Tracz.

Found Dominic sporting a headdress too :)

Click on this link on Twitter to read about the Festival I had attended, and there I was!

Shelby and I also went to the second day show Dada Life, Tritonal, and Pierce Fulton. We had the awesome pleasure of meeting the PLUR veteran Lady Casa at this event, one of Shelby's bucket list items. It was amazing to see a friend have such a touching moment.

Dada life was amazing, highly recommended show.

Dancing With The Dead- Lights Edition

Cannot even contain my excitement about today's post. As I sit hear listening to Color Map of The Sun by Pretty Lights I can't even believe I will be seeing this live in 12 hours, a-fucking-mazing. If you have't already heard this album you can download it for free from the Pretty Lights website (highly suggested). Accompanying PL tonight in Camden, NJ will be Candyland, Seven lions, and Krewella. Needless to say it is time to RAGE.

Krewella- Live For The Night

Pretty Lights with the live band!!

Since this is just a quick post for pre-concert I'll show you what I'm thinking about wearing. Of course I have to rock the Black Milk Clothing Pretty Lights leggings, available here. Since it's the dancing with the dead edition costumes will be more than appropriate but I'm taking it kind of light on the dressing up. I have this butterfly masquerade ball mask & just a simple black crop top from Nasty Gal. I'll be posting an update about this amazing show tomorrow, hope everyone has a funky Friday night.

Save The Rave

I'm very excited for the this post about the amazing Thursday night I enjoyed. I went to see Bassnectar  at a local venue called the Bryce Jordan Center. With the popularity of EDM music exploding in the last couple years so has the inspiration for rave outfits and attire. I find Rave and Festival attire to be some of the most fascinating, beautiful creations of displaying someones personality and love of the music through their outfit.

For Bassnectar Thursday night I decided to channel my inner spirit animal, the butterfly. It's awesome to be able to go somewhere you know that you will not be judged for being in a Halloween costume when it's still a few weeks away. My DIY post from Wednesday is the base of my outfit, a tutu. I chose the blue and pink colors because they compliment my wings, a $3 purchase from Walmart. My waterfall tie dye crop top is from Nasty Gal. My leggings are from Black Milk Clothing. To be comfortable while dancing my ass off I'm wearing my trusty TOMS. I got these bright, fun, colorful acrylic nails from ULTA, a House of Holland Halloween collection pack. I had to file them down to a comfortable level but they add that perfect extra bit of oomph to my outfit tonight.

Black Milk Clothing

Today I want to introduce a brand some of you probably have never heard of, Black Milk Clothing. This is an Australian brand that was founded in 2009 on the whim of a random purchase by James Lillis. After working odd end jobs his whole life James found a true passion with this purchase of a sewing machine. With only six bucks in his pocket James took a stroll down to the fabric shop. Soon enough someone expressed interest in purchasing a pair of his unique leggings, with this Black Milk Clothing began.

Black Milk Clothing designs lines of leggings, swimsuits, bodysuits, dresses, and much more. The amazing prints that are used to create these magical pieces of clothing make them seem totally one of a kind. I first learned about Black Milk Clothing because of their limited edition Pretty Lights collection, inspired by the single "So Bright".

I just made my first order from Black Milk Clothing and cannot wait till it arrives!
