Ready for warmer days, waking up to sunshine instead of darkness, and breaking out my summer wardrobe. Also this means festival season is upon us and nothing gets me more excited than good jams and planning cute outfits. I've been slacking on my posts lately and am going to be way more committed this spring to posting very regularly and sharing my favorite trends. Florals are one thing I cannot get enough of for this SS15 season. These adorable dress pants are from Topshop and I got them at Nordstrom. There still should be plenty available so get them before they're gone! The top is a Free People basic that I've added to the collection for a flirty look when there's not 6 inches of snow outside I'd wear my Saint Laurent Paris tribute sandals. 

Dreaming Of Break

If you have already been able to start your spring break I am very envious of you. I can finally feel the stress lifting off my shoulders as I am going to my last day of classes with one final exam left. Then I get to enjoy a wonderful 10 day break, since my school does trimesters we have a little bit longer of a break than most.

I am most looking forward to having some time to be able to relax for the next 10 days and to hopefully save up some money for my Miami trip at the end of the month! These months since the new year has begun have been flying by and I cannot believe I will be entering my last term of college on the 18th of this month. I am making a vow today to truly take advantage of each beautiful day that is given to me and to live in the moment.

So Over Winter

I have such a strong spring fever I don't want to deal with winter for six more weeks. It's also been a tough time to get really focused on school and finding a good fit for an internship this summer. I feel like it's necessary to de-stress but won't have an opportunity to do that until it is spring time. Oh well, time to make the most of the rest of winter and get the most use out of your sweaters.

At least it's not as bitter as it has been and you can get away with a few less layers. Everyone just wants to be comfy on Mondays, but by adding some cute accessories to a simple leggings & long sweater look you can show your personality without too much effort. 

Who Says You Can't Wear Maxi's In The Winter?

Looking at my dresses gives me envy of a warmer season but who says you can't rock them appropriately in the winter? Tights, cardigans, boots, and long sleeves can turn the perfect summer dress into an adorable wintery get up.

Today I wanted to try something a little different with layering a maxi dress I got at Connections over this past summer. I had a tank underneath and threw a sweater over the top to stay bundled. Along with this I wore some thin nude tights and grey boot socks over to pull in the color of the sweater. Boots help keep in so much warmth in these cold winter months I think they can go great with a dress.

Can You Feel It In The Air?

It may only be the end of January but I swear I can already feel the sweet spring air coming on. I am ready to ditch the big jackets, gloves, scarves, and multiple layers for fun, summery, festival season ready wear. Unfortunately, I know this little warm spell we're experience will be taken back to the cold of winter at least a few times more before I get my wishes of spring time.
