I've missed using animal print in my wardrobing this winter. I love how leopard, cheetah, and zebra striped scarves and clothing can really liven up an outfit or look. Not to mention how it gets me excited and feeling a little on the wild side of things. I hate how winter months not only make me feel lazy but also play it safe with my outfits and styling cause it's too cold to take risks. It's much easier to just throw on a sweater and leggings and be done with it. I'm committing to getting back to pushing myself outside of the box with my styling ideas. Especially with all this fashion week inspiration from London and Milan getting me excited for next AW15.

Feelin' Flirty
Whether it is with my outfits or personality in general the month of February does have strange way of putting love in the air more than others. It could also be due to some of the coldest temperatures of the year we are experiencing but I just want to snuggle up under the covers with someone and never get out. Winter blues have definitely set in I am craving a tropical get away somewhere, anywhere warmer than PA. This look is a great work and go out for a couple drinks with the girls after, the faux leather pleated skirt adds the flirty-ness I was talking about. Especially with the compliment of lace on the sweater details.

Over Rated Holidays
Over rates holidays are the ones we indulge in the most. However some girls think it should be different than an emphasis of one day of love, waiting at over crowded restuarants & buying things you don't probably need. Okay so here goes my little rant about Valentines day for the year: Don't put more effort into than any other date, if you're not a hopeless romantic no one says you have to be. Handmade gifts are better any day of the week than bought ones. I'd rather be served breakest in bed than go out to some fancy restuarant. The little things matter all year round and not just on this one day. Most importantly if you're single rock the fuck out of it!

Easy Work to Holiday Party Look
Happy December! Tis the season to start thinking about getting that shopping list complete and out of the way so that you can enjoy the magic and spirit of the holiday season. I'm sure the invites to parties or ideas of Santa Crawl Bar tours is already in some of your horizons. So of course my first thought is what can I wear to these events and working retail I know I'll be cutting it close from work to going out so it has to be an easy transitional look for me. I love this idea I created above that is very professional with the blazer but as soon as that blazer comes off I'm ready to dance in this adorable peplum top from LOFT.
