Winter White

Sometimes a casual look is just as put together as a dressy look. I love being able to feel as though I am styled and still chic but look pretty effortless and feel that way too. I am happy to trade in skirts and dresses for a couple days a week to relax in my skinnies or some nice leggings. Today I channeled this casual, chic style by pairing this tunic from TJ Maxx with these awesome winter white cords from LOFT. Socks can literally complete any look for me by adding that extra flare or piece to my outfits. These frye boots are also becoming a pair I live in this fall/winter 2014.

Socks are a girls best friend when temperatures start to hit below freezing. I can still look cute occasionally by roughing it in a dress or skirt combination with the help of a nice pair of tights and of course some cozy socks. Free People, Target, and the Sundance Catalog are just a few of my favorite places to buy socks.

Easy & Effortless

I have been faced with juggling more than I ever have before lately and it's hard to still spend time on myself. With the demands of coming to the end of my college career, working two part time jobs, and still trying to be a real person among my friends it has been a lot to deal with. However, I just keep reminding myself that these sleepless nights preparing for tests and interviews for internships are just going to help me get to the place I want to be someday. 

I went for an easy get up today because I've been having less motivation to get ready in the morning when there's three feet of snow piled up outside. It's important to have an easy go-to get ready routine that can cut your normal getting ready time in half (if you like to take an hour like I do normally).
