Festival Fever

Well the best of best seasons is upon us and tipically that would be summer for me but is now better known as festival season. The time when traveling, camping, and raging take presidence over all else. Nothing is more fun than planning outfits for these events. Having been to Bonnaroo, Firefly, Ultra and countless day long festivals I've become obsessed with the culture that goss along with it. It's a judge free zone that allows people to find parts of themselves they didn't even know existed. It's a time of self expression where truly anything is acceptable whether that is completely mismatching or going nude. This outfit above is my perfect night festival look however I know these shoes are impractical for that event they were perfect for the look. This adorable matching set and shoes can be purchased at Nordstrom. The shoes are the Fringly by Steve Madden and the set is from Band of Gypsies found in the savy department. I love this top from PacSun and it is so soft. Of course no festival look is complete without tons of jewelry and layered necklaces. Coachella and Burning Man are on the top of my next festivals to go to. What festivals are on yours??

Festival Season MUST HAVES

Well I have no plans to attend any more festivals this season after my adventure to Ultra in March. But let me tell you these are the items I would be purchasing if I was getting the honor to attend any festivals like Bonnaroo, Firefly, or All Good Festival just to name a few I wish I was attending.

Perfect Flower Child Pants

These JUNO BELLS are designed by Lux-Divine Clothing. They also have some killer jewelry pieces for you bohemian lovers. Lux-Divine is a new brand that I found on Instagram and have just absolutely fallen in love with their hippie style. Although these babies are pricey ($180) I bet they are worth every penny.

Desert Wanderer Playsuit
Arguably the most perfect festival romper that was ever created. And after being sported by Vanessa Hudgens, and many other fashionistas, at Cochella it has gained major popularity. This dream is available at Spell Byron Bay

A Vintage Tee

A simple, soft tee to compliment any shorts or overall combination. Who doesn't look to be comfy and sport a favorite brand or band. Check out more of these vintage Harley Davidson tee's at DUCKaandCOVER etsy shop.

Fringe Clutch
No festival look is complete without the perfect bag to hold all your little necessities like chap stick, hand sanitizer, and your portable phone charger. This Kivari label Arrow Love Clutch is absolutely adorable and the perfect size to carry around a festival.

Ultramazing

So I survived the big city of Miami and flying for the first time by myself. It was such an amazing and life changing experience I am so happy I took the time off to do it. I really proved to myself that my fear of being alone isn't that bad, I think I'll be able to do just fine this summer in Philadelphia.

Ultra was such a beautiful experience I would definitely go back someday but next time I would want to go with some close friends. However, being alone I had the chance to explore everything I wanted to and meet so many new interesting people. I traded kandi with Carlita's Closet on it and handed out many businesses cards. This post is to help me reconnect with anyone I may have met at the festival! Here's a short list of some of the people I met in passes and at shows:
Girl I met by Kaskade and friend gave card to
Asian boys at the world wide stage
Girl at chainsmokers
Lots of men in headdresses
Everyone who pregamed at the Double Tree with us
I am blessed to have been able to share the weekend with such beautiful people.

I especially want to reconnect with this beautiful man I met at Krewella on Saturday!
