Floral Pants

So you will  be seeing a lot more of business professional looks for women in their twenties on my blog from now on with my new position I've recently taken on. It is so different to be in a office setting vs. in retail but I am loving the experience so far! I get to learn about a new part of myself and develop my career in a professional manner than just going from working job to job. Something I believe that will help  me prepare for my future and whatever other opportunities lie ahead for me. 

I hate the stupid fashion rule you can't wear white after labor day, who says! I love wearing white through out the fall and winter season and not just creams and winter whites. These floral pants are from Topshop and our one of my favorite go to work pants because they're so professional but still fun with the bold print. Paired with a black blouse by BCBG and my favorite Jeffery Campbell heels! I have to say I love how the business professional attire has changed in the work world from the last ten to five years, no longer are matching suits required, and navy, black & charcoal are not your only color choices ladies!!

Working retail I am often faced with the dilemma of, if you want to have a social life going out with friends on the weekend you have to prepare your outfit to be work & going out appropriate or bring a change of clothes. And really who has time for that. It's also hard to find the appropriate balance sometimes for that work transition into a going out look. My tips for creating these kinds of looks are using as many layers as possible, you can totally change your look from day to night. Another tip is to think about just bringing a change of shoes or jacket for going out cause that can also alter the look a great deal. This romper is from LOFT last year and these boots are Stuart Weitzman, the blazer for the day look is BCBG.

Aztec Obsession Just Got Worse

 Happy Friday!! Thank goodness it is the weekend, I need some time to unwind and relax after getting back to class this week. Good luck to all of those who start next week, it's rough getting back into a routine.

I scored an amazing blazer in Florida at BCBGeneration, and of course it was aztec print. I am so excited to be able to break this out for a nice night out after work this evening. I paired a simple black romper underneath from LOFT. Then threw on my Jeff Campbell boots and was good too go. Oh of course, the matching aztec print socks and coin collar had to be added to complete the look.

Two Girls, A Jeep, & Time to Rage Part III

The end of the trip was a fucking blast and beyond successful. Everyone was worried about two girls being alone in a big city and we proved them all wrong. After a safe drive and safe stay with tons of fun it was time to come back to reality. Most importantly we made some friends down there we will never forget that helped make the trip that much more fun.

New Years Eve in a city was an experience I will never forget. Fireworks everywhere, beautiful people dressed to the nines, and tons of dancing till the sun comes up. Miami sure as hell knows how to have fun, and those are my kind of people.
