#MyCosmoStyle

I am so happy to annouce my first blogger style challenge that I was invited to enter! The posts below are my looks I created on Polyvore about how I would rock Vegas at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. From day time lounging by the pool, to dinner with a dress code, and clubbing afterwards! The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas looks like the perfect place to spend your 21st weekend and decently affordable as well!!

For my #MyCosmoStyle I decided to go with a look that has one staple item but changes drastically as you go from meal to meal, club to casino, and everywhere in between! We will start with the morning where you can go from laying out to a nice lunch at Va Bene Cafe .

Bodycon Fever

I've been dying to rock this little number since I bought it this summer from Topshop at Nordstrom. It is such an amazing print on a bodycon dress that can still be made work appropriate with the right look. I decided to pair it with some over-the-knee boots and thigh high socks, as well as a blazer to polish off the look. I feel this would also look great with a cardigan, opaque tights, and chelsea boots for another put together, work appropriate style.

Positive VIbes Tuesday

Sometimes I wish I had a beer taste on a champagne budget but it is quite the opposite for me unfortunately. I sometimes get more of a buzz going shopping than I do on cranberry and vodkas. One positive thing about this though is that it brought me to realize a career in retail is something I am made for and will never get tired of as long as there is something new to learn.

Getting back on track I am trying to motivate myself to save up so that I can do things I really want to do in the future, like travel the world. The only way I can see myself starting to do this and stopping the bi-weekly shopping trips is to make a vision board for myself of all the places I want to visit. Portugal is at the top of this list because I would like to get to the lands where I am from, the Azore Islands. I would also like to visit many places in Europe as I have never been to the country before. All I have to say is anything is possible when you set your mind to it. Go after the things you've always wanted to achieve, even if they scare you!

FPMountaineer

Getting gem stone gifts from my momma makes my week!!

Layer up! Tis' the season for hot apple cider, pumpkin picking, and infinity scarves. I am actually getting excited for the change of seasons and holidays to start rolling in,even though I'm not particularly a fan of the cold. This week I wanted to style a look inspired by the Free People Mountaineer trend. I choose to use my favorite Free People tapestry jacket as a focal point of the look. Along with this super soft, cable knit, short sleeve black sweater, and printed scarf. The Mattisse boots finish off the look with a cozy pair of socks and Current Elliot jeans. What is your favorite fall trend to come out this fall and why??
