Embrace Change

Something I can't get enough of lately is change. Whether it is in my diet, outfit choices, or with my look I've been having a blast trying new things. When I over came the fear and resistance to change it's nice to be able to just roll with the punches and realize not everything is in your control and that's okay.

Christmas also happen to come early for me! A new pair of Stuart Weitzman boots, the Highway. These over the knee, high heel, black suede boots are sure to be the perfect addition to my closet. I was so excited to style them and think they are very versatile!

Sweater Weather

Fall has officially set in and it almost feels like it could snow soon! This is something I am coming to terms with but don't know how I will feel the first time I actually see snow on the ground this year. With the temperatures dropping that means the layers are adding on.Today's casual look is very bohemian inspired.

A dog, Kitten & Not a Care in the World

Carefree days are the ones that I live for. If there's a day in the week I don't have an on going to do list that's a winner for me. And even sometime when to I do have a crazy to do list you need to prioritize and always make sometime for yourself. Without a little R&R it's impossible to stay motivated throughout the week.

Besides lounging with some snacks and watching netflix another one of my favorite ways to relax is writing. I've found that whether writing my blogs or in a journal it is a great stress reliever. Along with this I love taking essential oil baths. What do you do to relax in the crazy hustle and bustle of life?

Short Hair Don't Care

I am so happy I made the drastic decision to chop all my hair off, well pretty much. There are times I run my fingers through it and am like where is the rest. But nothing beats taking about half the time to get ready now, so much easier! I am really impressed with my salon like blowout skills as well.

Luxe Boho

Throwing beautiful jewels over any bohemian look instant glams you up a bit and makes it feel slightly less hippie. I love combining modern trends like statement necklaces and mixing them with old ones that will never go out of style like floral and paisley prints. I am a huge fan of the 60's inspired trends that are going strong today like jumpsuits, bellbottoms, and lots of accessories. I channeled this look today by styling this awesome Free People velvet romper for the first time. I love the open back detail of this piece and it's very easy to dress up or make a casual day outfit from.
