Change Is Good
Change is also one of the only things that is constant in life and that's something that should be embraced. I recently decided to have some drastic change by cutting off a lot of hair. It was something I was afraid to do at first but am now so happy I did it. It's nice to have a new look sometimes!

Men's Wear Inspired
Taking lessons from the boys I decided to do a play on men's wear for women today. A good button up is the heart of a good men's wear inspired look. I paired that with a sweater over top and a classic skirt, boot combo. I really wish I could've done a trouser and oxford look but I have a hard time finding dress pants that actually fit me. If you're petite where do you find the best dress pants?
Have fun with your wardrobe and don't be afraid to try things that are different! I dare you to go out of your comfort zone once this week and try something new with your styles or makeup!!

Texture Play
Another one of falls greatest trends is playing with textures. From seeing velvet make a big return to fur vest being a big ticket item, and leather of course thrown in there too. I love this trend because it can make an outfit come to life by adding the extra pop that isn't necessarily a statement necklace or florescent color.
One of my many plays on this trend is mixing smooth leather booties with textured over the knee socks and a chiffon dress. I loved this look and had so much fun styling it because at first I had difficulty matching these Frye boots with anything! But now I am much more confident with how they can be a neutral to an outfit and go exceptionally well with olive tones, grays, and beiges. Have a wonderful week and don't forget to explore some fall trends!

I.T from Hong Kong
This months Nordstrom pop-in shop is one you are definitely going to want to shop before it sells out! I.T from Hong Kong is four featured brands that are already make headlines in the Asian communities. It's also nice that this pop-in features brands for guys and girls and the price point is very affordable.
These four brands include Izzue, Mini Cream, Chocoolate, and Aape by A BATHING APE. Chocoolate was definitely my favorite because it has varsity inspired graphic pieces that are sure to turn heads. I also picked up a piece by izzue and wanted many more! This brand was just as contemporary as the rest but a little less graphic and pop cultured inspired. Where as mini cream is screaming of graphics and there four main characters on almost every piece. I included some shots of products available online and in stores that have the pop-in shop, as well as the two pieces I got and my gift with purchase! Can't wait to style these for an outfit post! Have a happy weekend!!!

#MyCosmoStyle
I am so happy to annouce my first blogger style challenge that I was invited to enter! The posts below are my looks I created on Polyvore about how I would rock Vegas at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. From day time lounging by the pool, to dinner with a dress code, and clubbing afterwards! The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas looks like the perfect place to spend your 21st weekend and decently affordable as well!!
For my #MyCosmoStyle I decided to go with a look that has one staple item but changes drastically as you go from meal to meal, club to casino, and everywhere in between! We will start with the morning where you can go from laying out to a nice lunch at Va Bene Cafe .
Then drink and dance the afternoon away at the at the Marquee Dayclub pool, on the 17th floor. This rooftop pool is sure to be an experience you don't forget. Clean up and eat dinner at any of the amazing cultured restaurants like Rose.Rabbit.Lie. or The Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill.Throw on a change of shoes and you're ready for a sexy night out in the Chandelier.
