I don't know if any of you experienced the cold dip in weather this past week but I sure as heck did down here in Philly. It was actually appropriate to break out pants and sweatshirts again. This look above is a great work look for those kinds of days or if you work somewhere that's constantly pumping air conditioning. I love how the leather arm detail goes with the Jeffery Campbell heels. The floral pants are from Topshop and are so much fun for the summer for work. Well I'm keeping it short and sweet this Friday as I prepare for a very busy week next week, no days off until I move! So packing every night with a little glass of wine should do the trick to get me in good shape for the move.

Going Out Look
Can't wait for this long holiday weekend, even though I'll be working the whole thing, it still just raises everyone's spirits to truly be kicking off summer. Memorial day means pools open if they haven't already and it's time for trips to the shore. As you can see my apartment walls are getting more and more in preparation for my move here in 10 short days! I'm surprised I am still going out and not spending every minute packing. When I laid eyes on this skirt at Nordstrom I just knew it had to come home with me. It is a beautifully hand beaded piece by Raga an L.A. based clothing company. I matched this with a simple body suit from American Apparel and my favorite Jeffery Campbell heels. I love the way the skirt curves with your hips perfect for a night out dancing.

Peruvian Trek
The latest trend from Free People has me drooling, I want everything from the catalog but unfortunately am on a spending freeze due to moving and other reasons. The Peruvian Trek theme is all about trail blazing prints, and sun seeking silhouettes which thankfully I already own a lot of. It feels as though this print that helps boost the start of a new season is one I was already in love with having visited Peru a few years ago. I should do a throw back post to some of my outfits and amazing time there. Anyways back to the look, I chose the Free People battenburg bralette for my top paired with some shorts I scored at goodwill. These shoes are handmade and from Peru, I bought them at a little boutique is Cusco, Peru. My necklace is from Lost Lovers Store Australia and was one of my favorite 21st birthday presents. The look all comes together with the giant bohemian purse also from Free People.

Beauty Haul
This post is a couple weeks late but better late than never right. I'm not very educated on make up so when I was invited to a make up and martinis event I was so excited. Who doesn't love a good drink and little make up 101? It was sponsored by Nordstrom and their beauty trend show so lots of gifts with purchases and raffles were going on. I found out I am definitely a Bobbi Brown girl. I bought the smokey eye kit complete with a lipstick and brightening brick. It is an easy, all in one for a girl like me who doesn't normally wear much make up out but this will push me to do my eyes more. I also splurged on a Channel lipstick, liner, and gloss combo but it was so perfect for at work or going out.
