Goodbye 2014

These are my top five moments from 2015 with the number one being the fact that I made it through college and now have a degree to show for the strenuous nights spent studying. This moment is one that I will never get to relive again and am so glad I attended and was able to speak at this event.

This necklace was my first purchase from Nordstrom King of Prussia showing the appreciation I had to begin my professional career with such an awesome company that I am still growing with today. Working somewhere you love and can learn something new every day is truly a blessing.

Being able to visit my happy place the beach more than once in a year is a great year to me! I was able to get to Florida last year twice, Bermuda for a cruise, and living down in Philly now I was able to drive to New Jersey on my days off this summer.

Between LIC Miami, ULTRA 2015, seeing plenty of DJ's at Levels Night Club in State College, Firefly music festival, to Basscenter in NYC and Basslights in Hampton, VA. It has been another amazing years of concerts and festivals that I know will continue into 2015.

It was a life long dream to move out of State College and I am so proud of myself for actually doing so. Philadelphia has been a wonderful city to start out in and I am blessed to have been so independent with moving into a big city all by myself. I realized I am so much stronger than a lot of other girls my age and am able to overcome silly little personal obstacles we put ourselves through. Thank you for all your support in 2014 and I hope 2015 will be just as wonderful for all of us!

Family Time is the Best Time

This post is a little late but I have been such a busy person this last week between traveling for holidays, work, and fun it has been quite the whirlwind. I went from Philly to State College back to Philly down to Hampton, Virginia and back up to Philly all in a matter of five days. All I can say is I am very thankful for Red Bull and being young so that I am able to do these things on minimal sleep. Being home at my mothers house for Christmas was so wonderful. I was the most relaxing 24 hours I have had in this past week and the reason I remain so blessed to have such a wonderful support system. This isn't my usual style but I will also be posting one more blog today before the New Year to reflect on this last year and what blogging has done for me.

Vintage Furniture and Red Lips

These are a few of my favorite things. My room is my sanctuary and I love for the space to reflect things that make me happy and mean a lot to me. I remember going to auctions with my mom and step dad throughout high school trying to be like the American Pickers. I got these amazing vintage furniture sets out of it by far the most exciting thing we ever bid on. Today's casual look is from LOFT. I really wanted to emphasize my jewelry today though cause it was definitely the pop from the black and white outfit along with the red lip. Be adventurous with your looks this week and for New Years!

Winter Going Out Look

You don't have to get all dolled up to look good when going out. In the winter it's important to keep warm and stay cute for outings around the city. I also never go out without a legitimate jacket no matter where I am going. This look was inspired by the print top and not wanting anything else to overwhelm the look. I love this top I scored on sale at Nordstrom and the fun back especially. These jeans are from Free People and one of my favorite fitting pairs. My Stuart Weitzman highway boots are everything I am just very careful to wear them only when there is no precipitation since mine are suede.

All you need is a little TLC

Trying to prepare post for the next two weeks because it will be such a busy time for me to keep up with the blog and enjoy the free time I have outside of work for the holidays. I stumbled upon These photos from a couple weeks ago when my mom and niece came to visit. I loved this look and can't believe I forgot to share it!

The perfect bohemian winter look with a mix of some of my favorite prints and textures. This look could take you from a day in the park to a night out with girlfriends. I love this skirt from Urban Outfitters but always hated only wearing the summer months. If you wear enough layers those summer clothes can transition right into your fall and winter wardrobes. The sweater is from Ann Taylor LOFT, jacket and necklace are from Free People, boots are Frye.

Paisley Print Pants

Fun pants make any day better for me, especially when it feels like you are wearing pajamas. These pants were an deal from Tobi, a great online retailer for affordable going out pieces or closet basics. I decided to wear that and a favorite Mink Pink blouse of mine from a few years ago. These colors are perfect for the season as well. I hope to be getting some snow down in Philly soon, what about you guys?
